Common Questions

  • What time does the tour start?

    The pick-up time at your stay can be from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This will be at the discretion of your assigned tour guide. He will be contacting you the day before during the afternoon/evening to give you the details.



  • What is the cancellation policy?

    • We will refund 100% of the payment when you cancel 24 hours before your reservation. This regardless of person or situation.

    • If you cancel in less than the established time, you will lose all rights to your payment.

    • The excursion may suffer cancellations depending on the weather of the day. As you can understand, this is something out of our hands. Being a Rainforest, the quality of the river can vary according to weather conditions. For your safety, we do not give tours when the river is in poor condition. If so, you will have the opportunity to reschedule your tour with priority or receive 100% of your payment.

    • You must confirm with your assigned tour guide the pick-up time the day before. If you do not answer messages or calls for confirmation purposes before your tour begins, it will be canceled. Therefore, you will lose the rights to your deposit.

    • If you take more than 15 minutes to leave your accommodation, the tour will be canceled and you will lose your rights to your deposit.

    • If you reschedule your appointment less than 24 hours in advance, it cannot be canceled. If so, you will lose the rights to your deposit.
  • Who and when give me the details of the day of my tour?

    Your assigned guide will be writing or calling you the day before your tour. This contact is usually in the afternoon/evening, around 4:00pm to 8:00pm. This is because during the day the hikers are working.


    So don't worry if your guide doesn't contact you early.

  • What should I bring to the excursion?

    We always recomend a small bag with a water and a change of clothes for after the tour. A towel would be amazing. 

  • What does the excursion include?

    This excursion includes:

    • Certified tour guide service
    • Full transportation to-from your accomodation
    • Gas/tolls/parking/entrace fees all taken care of
    • Fotography and video
    • Lunch stop is inlcuded
  • Is the tour exclusively for my group?

    The tour accommodates up to six people. In other words, if your group is less than this amount, it is very likely that there will be more people with you. If you would like a totally private tour at an additional cost, you can contact us.

  • What are the pick up areas?

    The pick-up areas are all in the metro area of San Juan and everything towards the east side of the island close the the rainforest! If staying at an airbnb, please add the correct address at the end of the booking.

  • What vehicles are used for transportation?

    All our vehiclesare new year-to date mini vans that can accomodate up to 6  people in private and comfortable service!

  • Payment methods?

    For the time being our payment methods are Paypal, Venmo and we are working hard to add others on our website.

  • Age to do the excursions?

    The tour is designed for ages 12 to 60. It should be taken into consideration that the person doing this tour must be in good physical condition.

  • Lunch is included?

    After the tour, we make a stop so that you and your group can have lunch at an authentic food restaurant in the country. However, the costs will be on your own.

  • Can the tour start later?

    Pick up times vary from 7am-10am depending on group size or if paying for a fully VIP tour. Anything later than 10am is dficult for us, unless it is a VIP tour.
